If you need a bit of leather lace, you don't have to run to the store or order online. Use this leatherworker's trick: make a long lace out of a small scrap by laser cutting leather in a spiral. This design includes 3 different lengths for 1/8" wide laces: The large spiral will make a lace approximately 70" long. The medium spiral will make a lace approximately 50" long. The small spiral will make a lace approximately 33" long. (when you straighten your lace it will stretch different amounts depending on the thickness of leather you choose)
